Born in Manhattan and growing up in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, life never seemed to come easy, even at a young age for singer Lee Ranghell. He wrote his first song after experiencing a traumatic incident when he was 8 years old. Afterwards, he started writing down his thoughts. It became a way for him to cope with the difficulties of life.

     Rock & Hip-Hop were Lee's early influences, listening to the radio growing up. He would lose himself in the music and their lyrics. As he continued to write, the experiences in his life became his lyrics.

     As an adult, Lee was diagnosed with ADHD. He draws inspiration from his daughter, Skylee, making him feel alive. Music is the language he thinks in, the language that helps him understand the world. It makes him feel like he is not alone, gives him hope, and simply makes things better.
